Mission, Value, Vision

Mission

The Mission of the Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation is to encourage and facilitate citizens and service groups to financially support OUR local hospital.  Hence the Foundation's task "Actively Working to Keep OUR LOCAL HOSPITAL CURRENT".  The Foundation will receive, acknowledge and utilize the funds raised to assist in the purchase of equipment, support patient programs and provide health related education to our community.  The Foundation will diligently maintain a reserve fund to provide investment income that enables continuity of its services in the future.

Vision

The Vision of the Foundation is reflected in how we, as a group of volunteers, want to be perceived by all stakeholders of the healthcare services provided by the Walkerton Hospital.  We will constantly strive for excellence in carrying out our Mission in order to effectively serve the patients, the healthcare professionals and the citizens of our community.

Value

As an entity that is entrusted with financial support provided by individuals and organizations for the betterment of healthcare in our community, The Foundation values integrity, compassion and teamwork as fundamental requirements that enable fulfillment of our Mission.
