The evidence of the community's generosity is clearly visible all around the Walkerton Hospital. Since the Foundation was incorporated in 1994, community support has helped raise over $4,000,000. Completed projects include the purchase of a 64 -Slice CT Scanner, Digital Mammography Machine, 2 - Anesthetic Machines, Surgical Equipment for the O.R., Diagnostic Imaging Equipment including PACS, Neonatal Warmer, Obstetrical Equipment and Infrastructure projects i.e. Elevator, Roof, Generator, and Physician Offices, to name a few. Each of these requisite pieces of equipment have made a significant difference in the care for our patients; providing the best possible healthcare close to home.
